Dr. Rod J. Rohrich is a plastic surgeon out of Dallas, Texas. He is involved in academia as a Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. His work in the plastic surgery field has made him internationally known. Dr. Rohrich artistically restores youthfulness back to patients’ appearances.Dr. Rohrich has become an expert in his field by studying at some of the top surgical hospitals and universities in the country. He has completed residency in several areas, including general and plastics. Dr. Rohrich has continued to further his develop his skills by attending several symposiums with fellow peers, continuing to learn as well as educate. Dr. Rohrich serves on several medical and plastic surgery boards. He is the President of the Association of Academic Chairmen of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Plastic Surgery Research Council, as well as several other societies and associations.
During the first few months of 2018, Dr. Rohrich will be attending three separate conferences which he has work diligently on. In February, Dr. Rohrich will attend the 52nd Annual Baker Gordon Educational Symposium which honors the evolved advances in cosmetic and plastic surgery. Dr. Rohrich will be participating in the conference by moderating the Pragmatic Solutions in ‘Lower Lid Blepharoplasty’, including a lecture and video demonstration as well as a panel. He will also be moderating the Elegant Outcomes in Body Contour Surgery where he will serve on the panel. Dr. Rohrich will be involved in several panels and lectures throughout the weekend, including ‘Elegant Solutions in Rhinoplasty’ as well as ‘What Works – Facial Rejuvenation.’Dr. Rohrich will be attending two more conferences at the end of February/beginning of March.
One of those is the 21st Annual Global Dallas Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine from February 28th – March 1st. Dr. Rohrich will be presenting the latest innovations in lasers, IPL, vaginal rejuvenation, and several other highly technical processes that are now becoming less invasive. A cadaver lab will be used to display some of these last innovations that will provide a hands-on environment for the experts of cosmetic surgery.March 2nd and 3rd, Dr. Rohrich will be attending the 35th Annual Dallas Rhinoplasty Meeting. At this symposium, leaders in Rhinoplasty will discuss some of the most common problems in rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, and the latest innovations in the field. Lectures that will take place during the symposium will consist of a review of the nasal anatomy, analyzing the nose, etc.
